Cihuatan Nantli 20th Anniversary Edition

Discover the limited edition CIHUATAN Nantli 20 Years 2004, an aged rum from El Salvador celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Licorera Cihuatán distillery.

This exceptional nectar is the result of unique craftsmanship and a devoted passion for sugar cane, wrapped in a fascinating Mayan heritage.

Blended and aged for 20 years in virgin oak barrels from the inaugural reserves, this rare and precious rum is available in only 3520 bottles, each numbered by hand.

Cihuatan Sahumerio

The Maya were a close-knit community with a deep appreciation of love and relationships. To attract love, they performed a simple and enchanting ritual: in a Sahumerio, they burned sweets to win the graces of the goddess Chantico. Each treat had a meaning: dried flowers or floral honey for romance, dried fruit for family unity, incense for friendship, cocoa, seeds and butters for protection.

Cihuatan Xaman XO

Cihuatan Xaman, hailing from El Paisnal, San Salvador, El Salvador, is a 16-year-old rum with 40% Alc./Vol., aged for 15 years in American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished in Mayan ceiba barrels for 1 year.

In the heart of every bottle of Cihuatán Xaman lies the Sleeping Woman,Mayan goddess and guardian of the Cihuatán valley.
Legend has it that under the veil of night, the Sleeping Woman would look for the brightest star in the sky. This was Xaman, god of the North Star.

Compagnie des Indes Blend Caraibes

Made from a blend of rums from English Guiana, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, the "Caraîbes" blend is full of flavour. The rums are aged in Bourbon casks for 3 to 5 years in the Caribbean, then imported to Europe and carefully tasted to form part of the final blend.

Compagnie des Indes Blend Latino 5 Y

Compagnie des Indes Latino comes from a blend of rums essentially of "Spanish" type (60% comes from Guatemala) but not only, since a part of the rum which composes it comes from Guyana (English influence). The Spanish type brings the greediness while the English influence brings a touch of freshness. 5 years of aging in new barrels (bourbon) have allowed this rum to acquire its roundness and a rich palette of aromas. The rum was bottled without cold filtration.

TASTING NOTES

Palate: First very smoky, very opulent, then more peaty and balanced and greedy. There are also vegetal notes of oregano, thyme, rosemary, strong flavours of dried straw and toasted malt.
Finish: Ashy and greedy. It is reminiscent of a campfire on which a nice piece of meat has been grilled.

TASTING NOTES NOSE: Very distinctive, expressed with strong touches of amber, patchouli, coffee, and tonka bean. Finally, the bottom of the glass after tasting reveals beautiful aromas of rancio. PALATE: Explosion of aromas with a racy character. Tertiary notes, such as leather and freshly roasted coffee, appear initially, then move on to notes of toasted bread, roots, and spices (pink pepper, cinchona). FINISH: Very pronounced bitterness (due to its old age). With licorice and woodiness highlighting its powerful character.
