Savanna Lontan Blanc - 40 %

This white rum is fermented using a traditional method, making it a unique (re)discovery for aficionados. As a Grand Arôme rum, its production requires extended fermentation, and the secret of Lontan is rooted in the very popular artisan rums produced by 18th-century sugar refineries. Only four distilleries in the world have been able to succeed in performing the subtle alchemy to make such a rum. Characterised by spices and ripe fruit, there is a fine expression here of the aromas found in molasses – or ‘sugar cane honey’ as it is known – which are revealed using traditional methods in a very long, mixed fermentation process, which has been skilfully mastered.

Savanna Lontan Blanc 57 % Batch 2

For connoisseurs of spirits this particular product range highlights Savanna’s innovation and creativity. These rums differ from conventional ones due to their high abv, which makes them surprising yet well-balanced when tasted. Above all, they also have different recipes, resulting from complex processes, giving an endless array of aromas! Pleasantly spirited, with fresh flavours putting a new spin on traditional molasses-based rums.

Savanna Métis

In times gone by, all rum bound for Europe spent many months in oak kegs, so the only rums our forebears knew were mature rums. The result is a very refined but well-rounded, refreshing, floral rum, harking back to the liquors of yesteryear.

Savanna Métis Edition 2023

A blend of traditional rums aged for up to 4 years in French oak casks and tuns.
