This extra old rum is an exceptional blend, combining the finesse of agricultural rum from Réunion, distilled at the famous Rivière du Mât distillery, with the depth of molasses rum from the Le Galion distillery in Martinique.
Aged for at least 6 years in American and French white oak barrels, this rum offers an unforgettable tasting experience, where each drop tells a story of passion and tradition.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: From the moment it is opened, the powerful and bold nose welcomes you with intense notes of cane sugar and cinnamon, quickly evolving into a sweet caramel cream. An intriguing medicinal touch recalls camphor and solvent, transforming with aeration into more gourmet aromas of almond paste and candied fruit.
PALATE: On the palate, this rum reveals a rich and velvety texture, where the flavors of raisins and licorice harmonize with tasty tropical fruit notes. The ingenious blend of agricultural and molasses rums creates a perfect balance, offering an experience that is both gourmet and sophisticated.
