A rich and deep agricultural rum with beautifully balanced sweet and spicy notes, also appealing to whiskey lovers with its nicely marked oak spices.
Tasting notes
Color: Rich chestnut
Nose: Fruity esters with overripe pineapples, apples, and bananas, vinyl records, glossy magazines, paper glue, papier-mâché, gingerbread with milk, dark chocolate, rose creams with dark chocolate, Neapolitan ice cream, vanilla cheesecake, and oak cabinets polished with beeswax.
Palate: Funky esters, vinyl, ripe pineapple, apples, clove candies, anise candies, cherry candies, dark chocolate truffles, vanilla latte, cream-filled donuts, mango pudding, oak cabinet polished with beeswax, and ballast.
Finish: Dry spices and even more anise candies.
Tasting advice: Neat, with 35 minutes of aeration.
