Swell de Spirits Mexican Spirits Los Convidados Rhum
Immerse yourself in the rich and exotic universe of Mexican Rum High Esters - Los Convidados, an exceptional rum resulting from the collaboration between Swell de Spirits and the Mexican distillery Satvrnal.
This rum, made from local Jalisco molasses and enriched by the traditional "muck pit" method, embodies Mexican artisanal know-how.
Each step, from extended fermentation in wooden vats to double distillation in pot stills, has been designed to create a spirit with intense and complex flavors.
After resting for six months in demijohns, this rum reveals its full aromatic depth.
TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: The bouquet opens with scents of apple tarte tatin with spun sugar, and strawberry doughnuts. Finally, raspberry brioche, medlar jam, kumquats, and lime emerge.
PALATE: The attack is marked by fresh pen on whiteboard notes, extra ripe bananas, and roasted pineapple. The palate reveals flavors of small brioche with dried fruits, thick molasses, warm clayey earth, and sun-ripened tomatoes on the vine. The finish is long and complex with touches of chai tea, vinyl records, and rubber poncho.
FINISH: Long and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of sophistication and depth with a hint of balanced acidity and sweetness.
