Cihuatan Sahumerio

The Maya were a close-knit community with a deep appreciation of love and relationships. To attract love, they performed a simple and enchanting ritual: in a Sahumerio, they burned sweets to win the graces of the goddess Chantico. Each treat had a meaning: dried flowers or floral honey for romance, dried fruit for family unity, incense for friendship, cocoa, seeds and butters for protection.

Tasting notes

Cihuatán Sahumerio offers a blend of light and heavy rums, carefully selected to achieve the desired notes, imitating what the Mayans used to burn in their Sahumerios. Cocoa butter, dried apricots, myrtle, incense.
