Madrecuishe Maguey madrecuishe (madre-cuixe, madrecuixe) is an Agave karwinskii. It grows mostly in dry climates, and typically takes a tall, cylindrical shape. Due to the agave’s dense core and low water content, mezcal made from Maguey madre-cuishe typically has high minerality with vegetal and floral notes.

A unique spirit that delights both gin and whiskey lovers alike, KOVAL Barreled Gin is crafted with the same prized recipe as the Dry Gin, but with a new level of citrus, spice and light butterscotch sweetness that come from its maturation in a KOVAL whiskey barrel. KOVAL Barreled Gin is crisp enough to be enjoyed straight, or as a new layer of depth in classic cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, Negroni or Gimlet.

Almost five years since we formed the GlenAllachie Distillers Company, bringing the distillery back into private ownership, we released the very special expression as an extension of our core range. Our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, has worked tirelessly on perfecting this expression since day one; evaluating casks and refining recipes to create something special. Merlet’s Crème de Framboise (Raspberry liqueur) guarantee consistent quality. Thanks to their position as currant growers and winemakers, the Merlets are able to exchange with their partner producers and call on their own expertise to select fruits of optimal ripeness.
