

10 years is the magic age for a rum. It is then at the firmament of its evolution. With its strength of character and woody sweetness, it will conquer the most demanding palates.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR Its color is brilliant and of a beautiful intense gold. The tears are fine and of medium thickness.
NOSE A basket of fruits and small acidulous candies! We have pep's, fruity and a beautiful freshness. For the fruits it is between banana, pear and white peach. Notes of candy to increase the greediness. With airing, it becomes more complex with honey, dried fruits such as grapes, dates and apricots. A touch of fat with a buttered side and freshly baked bread on a woody background.
PALATE The mouth is adorned with ripe and intense fruits, with small red fruits (wild strawberry or Morello cherry). At the end of the mouth, notes of milk chocolate ganache and roasting (light) bring complexity to this beautiful tasting.
FINISH A very long finish, which ends on a fine hint of walnut.

Compagnie des Indes West Indies is a blend of rums of English and Spanish tradition: rums from Barbados, Guyana, Dominican Republic and Panama.
For Barbados it is a pot still distillation, while for the other 3 origins it is a column still. The rum is aged in American oak barrels for at least 8 years.
