The Sherrywood Penderyn in this bottle has been aged in old bourbon casks and old Oloroso sherry casks to bring out the full richness of its fruity flavor.

Handcrafted on the Isle of Wight since 2014 using ten ethically sourced botanicals, Mermaid Gin offers a smooth yet complex blend of fresh organic lemon zest and peppery grains of paradise, with a hint of sea air from fragrant, wild rock samphire. TASTING NOTES
Nose: Very pronounced on ashes, caramel, grilled meat and hints of smouldering tobacco
Palate: First very smoky, very opulent, then more peaty and balanced and greedy. There are also vegetal notes of oregano, thyme, rosemary, strong flavours of dried straw and toasted malt.
Finish: Ashy and greedy. It is reminiscent of a campfire on which a nice piece of meat has been grilled.

Cnoc Na Mòine is aged in Bourbon, American Oak Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez Casks. The sherry casks in this new release lend a sweeter, richer flavour and a darker colour The name Cnoc Na Mòine translates as ‘hill of peat’ and is geographically located in Knoydart, which can be seen across the Sound of Sleat from the distillery.
