The Cooper's Choice Mannochmore 2009 is a rare and exceptional single malt, bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd. This whisky from the famous Mannochmore distillery was distilled in February 2009 and aged for 12 years in a sherry hogshead cask before being bottled in 2021.
With only 312 bottles available, this whisky offers a unique tasting experience, rich in flavors and aromas.
Its strength of 54.5% Vol. will delight lovers of intense and complex whiskies.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: The nose is enticing with aromas of maple syrup on blueberry pancakes, followed by warm spicy and woody notes. There are also hints of lightly sweetened sherry, adding a delicate and gourmet touch.
PALATE: This whisky offers delightful complexity. You'll find flavors of apple pie with blackberries, cinnamon, and cassia, all balanced by notes of poached pear and butter caramel. Each sip reveals a new facet of this refined whisky.
FINISH: The finish is long and lingering, with notes of fruit tea and waxy orange peels. A slight spicy touch persists, leaving a warm and pleasant sensation that invites another tasting.
