This noble, carefully distilled and matured fruit brandy made from Swiss plums captivates with its spicy and fruity aroma.
This freshly distilled plum brandy rests in stainless steel tanks for at least two years and then matures in oak casks for 14 to 18 months. After the maturation process, the plum distillate is further refined with a homemade bonificateur to compliment the wonderful aroma and subtle sweetness, which makes this Vieille Prune so unique.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR Bright Gold.
NOSE Delicious chunky plum sauce with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and bitter almonds, accompanied by subtle vanilla notes.
PALATE Soft texture, very smooth with aromas of spicy chunky plum sauce and bitter almonds, followed by delicate Crème Brûlée notes.
FINISH Long-lasting, slightly peppery with a very pleasant fruity sweetnes
