Glendalough choose the bodega, the liquid, the casks and the cooper in this region of Spain to deliver a terroir driven sense of this land , encapsulated in the liquid when we put our whiskey in these slow toasted casks for aging. These specially selected casks combined with expert liquid finishing, deliver a rich and complex flavour to our Double Barrel Irish Whiskey.

Nestled in a secluded, tree-lined valley, Speyburn remains the sole distillery sourcing water from the Granty Burn, a major tributary of the River Spey. The golden elixir ages in hand-picked American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, absorbing the essence of its exceptional surroundings. The resulting whisky is an award-winning, deep, complex, and well-balanced single malt, boasting notes of fresh fruit, hints of toffee and butterscotch, and culminating in a long, smooth, sweet finish.
