Kurayoshi Pure Malt - Snake Edition 2025
The Kurayoshi Pure Malt 2025 Snake Edition is the third edition of the Zodiac Label series by Kurayoshi distillery. The label is made in Kiryu Ori, a Japanese woven textile renowned for its high quality, used to make kimonos and luxury clothing accessories. Snake symbols and cultural meanings are wisdom and intelligence, elegance and mystery, transformation and renewal and good luck and prosperity. Coming from a careful selection of whiskies and fresh mineral water iltered by underground rocks from the snow-capped peaks of Mount Daisen, this special release offers rich aromas of dried fruits and toasted nuts.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE: Golden amber with a bright, inviting clarity.
NOSE: Rich and complex, with an initial burst of dried fruits – apricots, raisins, and figs – followed by subtle notes of toasted nuts.
PALATE: Smooth and well-balanced, featuring flavors of sweet malt, caramel, and a mix of dried fruits.
FINISH: Medium to long, with lingering notes of dried fruits, soft oak, and a subtle smokiness. The finish is warming, leaving a pleasant sweetness on the palate that gradually fades.
