The Longueteau 130 white rum celebrates the 130th anniversary of the oldest distillery in Guadeloupe, crafted exclusively from R-579 red cane from the 2023 and 2024 harvests. Each vintage rests in stainless-steel tanks (two years for 2023, one year for 2024), then is bottled at 58.7% without chill-filtration. TASTING NOTES : NOSE: Upon opening, the nose is dominated by warm aromas of caramel and flambéed banana. With Penultimus, Foursquare closes the Exceptional Cask Selection series, faithful to the precision and transparency that have made the distillery's reputation. This rum is crafted from a blend of distillates from pot and column stills, aged in Barbados, without additives, colorants, or chill filtration. For this edition, Richard Seale combined bourbon and Moscatel casks. The influence of the Moscatel brings an aromatic depth without making the rum too sweet or too heavy. The whole remains balanced and highlights the rum itself, rather than an excessive influence of the cask.
