This artisanal punch, awarded multiple times at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris, transports you to the heart of Guadeloupean traditions with every sip. The meticulous maceration of passion fruits harvested on the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte-Marie imparts this punch with unparalleled freshness and roundness.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: The nose reveals an intense and captivating aroma of ripe maracujas, with tangy and sweet notes that immediately evoke the tropical sun. The agricultural rum adds a round and sweet depth, derived from well-ripened sugarcane.
PALATE: On the palate, the first impression is that of a pure and natural passion fruit juice, slightly sweet and incredibly fresh. The sweetness of Longueteau agricultural rum perfectly balances the acidity of the fruit, transforming the slight bitterness of the maracuja seeds into a flavor reminiscent of buttery biscuits.
FINISH: The finish is long and harmonious, leaving a soft and fruity sensation that lingers pleasantly, inviting another sip.

This is a bitter aperitif liqueur created based on the recipe for the "Italian Bitter of Turin" dating back to the 1860s. Originally produced in Turin, Italy, under the name Torino Gran Classico, the recipe was purchased in 1925 by the small Swiss distillery E. Luginbühl, and a version has since been produced mainly for local consumption. Gran Classico was developed by returning to the original recipe; it is made from a maceration of 25 aromatic herbs and roots, including wormwood, gentian, bitter orange peel, rhubarb, and hyssop. The maceration also creates a naturally attractive golden amber color, and no additional coloring is added.
