PALATE: On the palate, there is a perfect continuation of the nose, with a dense and thick texture. The power of sweet sherry manifests in a harmonious ensemble of figs, dried peaches, plums, sweet dark chocolate, cream liqueur, with a slight touch of eucalyptus and a wave of grape acidity. This special edition, named "The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish," is an elegant and complex blend of four finishes from prestigious wine regions: the French AOCs of Languedoc and Médoc, as well as the Italian Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella barrels. This rare single malt offers a unique aromatic richness, combining red fruits, delicate spices, and bursts of citrus for a sensory experience full of character.
The terrior of ABK6 is a chalky hilltop at 154m of altitude. For this spirits 100% Ugni-blanc grapes are used. The vinification took place in thermoregulated vats. The distillation was a double distillation in small Charentals pot-stills. This Cognac is aged in new and old french Limousin oak barrels of 350-liters, with a finish in XO barrels.
