Nixta Licor de Elote is a Mexican corn liqueur made from a base of tender, ancestral cacahuazintle (kaka • wha • SINT • lay) maize, grown in the high valleys and foothills of the Nevado de Toluca volcano. Nixta is produced at the Destilería y Bodega Abasolo, where we honor the Mexican culture of corn and the ancestral craft of nixtamalization—a 4,000 year old Mesoamerican cooking technique that uncovers the deepest flavors and aromas of maize.

Our Master Distiller Billy Walker carefully finesses every small batch, striving to better the last. The whisky was elevated through maturation in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks. With a deep chestnut hue, a lively nose and a punchy palate, expect a dram that captivates the senses. We proudly present The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Batch 12 with integrity; at its cask strength of 59.7%, natural colour and unchill filtered, allowing for optimum drinking experience.

Factors such as the oak species, level of toasting, and coopering of the cask each leave a unique mark on the slumbering spirit. The oak itself was previously influenced by the grape variety and terroir of the winery from which we sourced these barriques; thus, the wood adds distinctive layers of complexity, depth and charm.

This mahogany malt obtains its spicy, treacly flavours from maturation in hogsheads made of Spanish Oak (Quercus Robur). This particular wood was sourced from the regions of Galicia and Asturias, specifically from the forests of the Cantabrian Mountains, which have a cool, humid climate. The oak was air dried for around 18 months and then toasted and charred to a medium level, opening up the oak to allow our complex spirit to extract its cask character. The secondary ageing in these virgin casks deepened the mahogany hue of the whisky and created a palate rich with dried fruits, maraschino cherries and hints of stem ginger.

Specially selected by Billy Walker, limited edition: 1,800 cases, matured in Bourbon casks and finished in Premier Cru Classé barrels, aged in Speyside, non-chill filtered, with no added coloring. Factors such as the oak essence, the toasting level, and the cooperage of the cask each leave a unique mark on the spirit at rest. The oak itself was previously influenced by the grape variety and the terroir of the wine estate from which these barrels originate; thus, the wood adds distinct layers of complexity, depth, and charm. These French oak barrels were sourced from one of the five Premier Cru Classé châteaux located in the Bordeaux wine region of France, which is globally renowned.

This deliciously fruity whisky enjoyed initial maturation in premium American oak ex-Bourbon barrels for over 8 years. Adding further complexity, the spirit was then transferred into specially elected Moscatel casks for a finishing period of over 42 months. A particularly aromatic dessert wine produced in Portugal, these Moscatel barriques offer up floral aromas, coupled with a silky-smooth mouthfeel. Delivering distinctive notes of tart fruit and rich toffee, this bronzed malt is one to be savoured.

This spectacular Scotch whisky embodies our unwavering dedication to obtaining Sherry wood of the highest standard. A watchful eye throughout the maturation journey ensures the whisky is bottled at its optimum. With an intense mahogany hue, this single malt exudes sheer indulgence with layers of cinnamon, orange zest, vanilla toffee and dark chocolate. We proudly present The GlenAllachie 15-year-old with integrity; at a high strength of 46%, without added colouring or chill filtration, enabling its true charm to shine through.

This opulent Scotch whisky was patiently perfected in the finest oak casks for 18 long years. Silently slumbering in our on-site warehouses, the spirit underwent continual monitoring until Billy Walker deemed it had reached its pinnacle. With enticing aromas of honey and mocha, followed by marzipan and dark cherry tones on the palate, it’s a single malt oozing elegant refinement.
