Discover one of the exceptional creations from the GlenAllachie distillery, located in the heart of Speyside. This limited edition, carefully selected by Billy Walker, offers a unique sensory journey through its 12-year aging in a Ruby Port Pipe cask. Bottled at 58.6% without chill filtration and with no added coloring, this Single Cask reveals the full richness and authenticity of its terroir.

This rare and unique Single Cask, drawn from cask #803475, comes from an Oloroso Puncheon and was aged for 10 years in the GlenAllachie distillery warehouses. Each cask is monitored with meticulous attention to capture and enhance the essence of its contents at the time of bottling. Uncolored and non-chill filtered, this whisky thus preserves all its authenticity and natural complexity. This cask strength whisky at 62.2% ABV reveals the perfect marriage between the Sherry-soaked Spanish oak and the distillate. This type of whisky, bottled directly from the cask, offers a raw intensity and a richness of aromas and flavors that only undiluted spirits can reveal.

Specially selected by Billy Walker, limited edition: 1,800 cases, matured in Bourbon casks and finished in Premier Cru Classé barrels, aged in Speyside, non-chill filtered, with no added coloring. Factors such as the oak essence, the toasting level, and the cooperage of the cask each leave a unique mark on the spirit at rest. The oak itself was previously influenced by the grape variety and the terroir of the wine estate from which these barrels originate; thus, the wood adds distinct layers of complexity, depth, and charm. These French oak barrels were sourced from one of the five Premier Cru Classé châteaux located in the Bordeaux wine region of France, which is globally renowned.

This whisky was distilled on on 26th March 2010 and aged in a single ex-PX Sherry cask #804032 for 13 years.

688 bottles were produced for Belgium.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: The aroma is powerful and intense, featuring notes of menthol and dark chocolate.

PALATE: It begins dry and woody, then shifts to juicier, fruitier flavors. Licorice and peach stand out.

FINISH : The finish is persistent, highlighted by vegetal tones like chlorophyll and a hint of rancio.

Nixta Licor de Elote is a Mexican corn liqueur made from a base of tender, ancestral cacahuazintle (kaka • wha • SINT • lay) maize, grown in the high valleys and foothills of the Nevado de Toluca volcano. Nixta is produced at the Destilería y Bodega Abasolo, where we honor the Mexican culture of corn and the ancestral craft of nixtamalization—a 4,000 year old Mesoamerican cooking technique that uncovers the deepest flavors and aromas of maize.

COLOUR: Rich Mahogany

NOSE: Dark cherries, golden syrup and sweet spices to the fore, with hints of toffee, glazed figs and hazelnuts.

PALATE: Our heather honey hallmark, alongside orange peel, cocoa and ginger, with caramelised brown sugar on the finish.
