Aromas of mulled wine and dark chocolate lead, while on the palate there are notes of spiced mead with cranberry and an underlying fresh citrus in the form of grapefruit. Light tannin and sugared almonds linger on the finish.

TASTIN NOTES

Nose: Pungent peaty smoke. Phenolic with a little coastal breeze.

Palate: Lovely sweet peatiness. Some iodine and sea salt balance with vanilla notes and some spice

Finish: Waves of smoke. Fantastic length.

Penderyn Portwood, a single malt whisky made in Wales, owes its name to the type of cask in which it is finished; export barrels. Previously, the whisky had been aged for several years in American oak. The selected casks impart rich fruity influences to this whisky, with clear notes of port.

The Merlet Crème de Mûre combines two varieties of blackberries, with a touch of other red fruits, which complement each other and bring richness and complexity. The Merlet family sources their fruits from partner producers to ensure consistent quality.

Our Meikle Tòir Single Casks represent the wonders of our warehouses and are bottled at natural strength to capture their full personality, offering an experience as close as possible to sampling straight from the cask. The Longueteau 125-year cuvée before cask aging is composed of 50° agricultural white rum, a blend of 65% red cane and 35% blue cane, with 8 months of resting in stainless steel tanks. This distillate is then transferred to 300-liter cognac casks. These casks were filled in three different years: 2008, 2009, and finally 2010.

Unchill-filtered, natural colour. Brewed, fermented, distilled, matured and bottled on site:
• Organic malted barley.
• Brewed with Vercors spring water.
• Distilled at 50°C in a low-pressure still designed by the by the distiller.
• Aged for 3 years in oak barrels in the gentle atmosphere of an old Vercors silkworm nursery.
