It has been matured in first-fill bourbon casks.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE : Delicate aromas of freshly dried hay and Parma violets, with hints of baked apple, clove, and vanilla ice cream.
PALATE : Notes of freshly baked scones with hints of strawberry jam and clotted cream, marry with delicate spices
FINISH: subtle nuttiness, this whisky is pleasantly nostalgic of summer days gone by.

It is finished in Oloroso casks from Montilla , a small town found in the rolling hills of the Spanish countryside. Glendalough choose the bodega, the liquid, the casks and the cooper in this region of Spain to deliver a terroir driven sense of this land , encapsulated in the liquid when we put our whiskey in these slow toasted casks for aging.
