Aged patiently for 22 years in American oak casks that once held bourbon, it reaches full maturity with an exceptional 3-year finish in Spanish oak casks that previously held Oloroso sherry. TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: The nose is both lively and complex, blending exotic notes of zesty mango and vibrant citrus. These are complemented by aromas of oak and dark chocolate, all subtly wrapped in a saline breeze.
PALATE: A sumptuous and balanced palate, where spices dominate without overpowering the sweetness. Cinnamon and nutmeg give way to hints of browned butter and dark chocolate, before revealing fruitier accents of fresh lemon, pineapple, and coconut.
FINISH: The finish is long, spicy, and elegantly saline. Exotic touches of pink pepper and hickory wood intertwine with the freshness of a lingering sea breeze. A conclusion worthy of an exceptional whisky.
