El Dorado 2000 Last Casks Diamond-Uitvlugt Casks 22Y
This limited edition - Last Casks - is made from a one-year-old rum distilled on the Diamond Coffey Still and aged for 21 years in casks that were previously used to age Pot Still rum at the Uitvlugt distillery before its closure in 2000. This rum was masterfully crafted by Master Distiller George Robinson and aged for 22 years in the company’s barrel warehouse in Guyana.
TASTING NOTES :
COLOR : Dark gold, amber
NOSE : Honey, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg with a hint of licorice, nuts, and hazelnuts.
PALATE : Sweet notes of rich molasses, honey, caramel, vanilla, and nutmeg, with a long finish.
