The Kurayoshi Pure Malt 2026 Horse Edition is part of the Zodiac series from the Kurayoshi distillery. This edition is entirely dedicated to the horse, one of the twelve symbols of the Chinese zodiac, which represents freedom, vitality, and energy. Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky are exceptional Japanese whiskies produced by the Matsui distillery. Located in Tottori, a coastal prefecture in the south of Honshu, known for its dunes, whiskies from the Matsui distillery are characterized by aging using the pure underground waters of Mount Daisen.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE Rich and complex, with aromas of dried fruits (apricot, fig, raisin) and roasted nuts.
PALATE Soft and elegant, with sweet notes of malt, caramel, and fruit.
FINISH Long and warm, with notes of soft oak, dried fruits, and a touch of smoke.
