Our sixth batch under our Inchmurrin label is a 22 Year Old, bottled at 47.5% abv. Previous batches of our Inchmurrins have always been popular amongst those that know what a cracking single malt this can be.
Inchmurrin is one of several single malts produced at the versatile Loch Lomond distillery in Alexandria, using unique pot stills, and producing a whisky that is typically lightly floral and grassy. Inchmurrin’s intensely fruity new make spirit, which evolves into lighter flavours of grass and flowers, is the result of a high cut point from a pot still equipped with rectifying heads.
|TASTING NOTES|
• Nose
Zingy fresh on the nose, lemon peel and lime juice, with black pepper and chilis.
• Palate
Aromatic smoky spices dominate with sweeter vanilla and toffee notes.
