Pokeno Prohibition Porter Single Cask 46%
For this special edition, after a full maturation in virgin casks, we finished the whisky in a cask we lent to our friends at Liberty Brewing for the maturation of their fantastic Prohibition Porter.
The result is an incredibly smooth and rich single malt, with notes of cocoa, caramel, and chocolate, which blend wonderfully with the rich sweetness of the virgin cask.
We hope you enjoy tasting it as much as we enjoyed making it.
TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: Enchanting aromas of dark chocolate, warm caramel, and roasted malt, enhanced by a subtle woody touch from the virgin cask.
PALATE: The texture is soft and silky, offering a perfect balance between the sweetness of caramel, the richness of cocoa, and hints of roasted hazelnuts.
FINISH: Long and elegant, marked by the persistence of chocolatey flavors and a gentle spicy warmth.
