Tomatin 1978 Warehouse N6
The casks numbered 49541 and 49542 have been gracefully resting in warehouse 6 since they were filled on September 21, 1978, gently and slowly maturing the precious spirit they contain. After thirty years, the spirit was transferred into the finest Spanish first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks and was aged for an additional decade under the careful and enduring care of Tomatin distillery's custodians.
TASTING NOTES
In perfect harmony, aromas of stewed fruits, dark maple syrup and bursts of orange peel and bergamot meet soft flavours of dark chocolate, warming spices and salted caramel before a long, silky finish.
