Glenlossie is an old distillery from Speyside located in the whisky town of Elgin. Built in 1876 by John Duff. The distillery was then sold in 1919 and destroyed by fire in 1929, before being re-built. Glenlossie remains a small distilery. The distilley increased from 4 to 6 pot stills in 1962. The distillery produces almost exclusively for famous blends.
TASTNG NOTES
NOSE : Lemon grass, peach, caramel
PALATE : Ginger, lemon tarte, gingrer, lemon meringue pie, herbal and leather
FINISH : Rich, toffee, Christmas pudding
