Xila Extra Spicy is a handcrafted Mexican liqueur made from young espadín mezcal and infused with a blend of 7 Mexican chili peppers, ataulfo mango, tamarind, and orange peel, sweetened with piloncillo. The profile is characterized by a restrained fruity attack, a spicy and herbal heart, and a distinctly spicy, lingering finish. At 20% ABV, Xila Extra Spicy maintains a structured and defined profile, crafted for cocktails, particularly in serves where spiciness takes center stage. Ideal for cocktails such as spicy margaritas, Paloma variations, or contemporary twists on bold classic cocktails.
