The 18th Century estate at Plantation Versailles, then owned by the French family L'Amirault, was situated on the West Bank of the Demerara River and was famous for its golden rum. Distilled on the Single Wooden Pot Still, the rum is coloured with caramel prior to ageing in oak barrels for 12 years. This rum celebrates the smooth chocolately palate of a fine aged rum.
Tasting notes
An initial taste of chocolate with a smooth finish and hints of cigar.
