In the past, all rums destined for Europe spent many months in oak barrels, so the only rums our ancestors knew were aged rums. The result is a very refined yet well-balanced rum, refreshing and floral, reminiscent of liqueurs of the past.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: Pale yellow with hints of gold.
NOSE: Tropical fruits with notes of vanilla. It gradually reveals more vegetal notes.
PALATE: Smooth and creamy on the attack, it develops aromas of cocoa and spices before unveiling notes of dried flowers and peppermint.
FINISH: Candied citrus and tropical fruits. It lingers with fresh and rich notes of lemon and anise.
