After having rested for 5 years in the distillery's cellars in Bourbon barrels, it was selected by Hee Joy and brought to the Charente for further maturation in Cognac barrels.

HEE JOY® VSOP DOMINICAN REPUBLIC is an exceptional rum, aged for 5 years in American oak barrels, then double matured in our former cognac barrels in our cellars in Charente. The Dominican Republic is a renowned region of the Caribbean, notably for the quality of its sugar cane and the aromatic finesse of its rums.
