Duncan Taylor Black Bull Kyloe Rum Finish
The family owned Scotch Whisky specialist, Duncan Taylor, was established as a cask broker and trading company on 27th May 1938. More than 80 years after the company was first registered, Duncan Taylor is recognised on the global stage as one of the most innovative and dynamic whisky companies. The company's devotion to the principles of providing exceptional casks for filling at the finest distilleries has been a key feature of its history and the out standing portfolio of collecting only the finest Scotch whiskies available.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR Gold
NOSE A rich tropical fruit salad with coconut and melon. Sugary fruit pastilles and touches of sugarcane and candy floss. Some hints of powdered vanilla sugar.
PALATE The Rum sweetness of the nose continues on the palate. A creamy texture. Light brown sugar, crisp apple and some tangy citrus. With time, becomes a tad more herbal with hints of fresh mint.
FINISH More fruit, and some fresh almond nuttiness. Some vanilla oakiness balances the sweetness. Medium in length with some zesty citrus prolonging the finish. Appealing and moreish.
