Designed by rum expert Thomas Holland to serve as the ideal base for a cocktail, but could also be enjoyed on its own. It is a blend of rums from Guyana and Jamaica, an original combination that is beautifully represented on the bottle's hand-drawn label, which features the national flowers of both countries side by side.

Rum production at Black Gate is lead by Genise Hollingworth, one half of the husband and wife team, and word is, that this Rum was distilled on their 10th Wedding Anniversary! Our Batch 2 bottling brings more of the delicious liquid from Batch 1, but this time at a beefier, even more full-flavoured 57.2% ABV.

Caroni shut down their stills in 2002 and with it, marked the end to "heavy" rum production in Trinidad. A long lost distillery with only a limited number of casks available? Now, that sounds like our kind of rum. A full flavoured and rare taste of history, this batch is rich in those nutty, sweet and smokey molasses.

The Savalle Still release is our third heritage still offering from the famed Diamond Distillery located on the banks of the Demerara River. This famous four-column metal French Savalle Still was inherited from the 18th century Uitvlugt Estate on the west coast of Demerara county as Rum production was consolidated at Diamond Distillery. This release carries the SVL marque and is highly versatile in producing various historic marques. It was distilled in 2003 and transferred to the UK for further maturation. This particular marque was pre-coloured as a part of their traditional processes and carries that smoky molasses note.

This artisanal agricole rum, from the fertile lands of Madeira Island, was produced by O Reizinho, known for its traditional production methods and respect for raw materials. This 9-month-old rum, bottled by That Boutique-Y, lies at the border between unaged white rum and "aged" rum. Entirely crafted from pure sugarcane juice, this rum was aged in ex-fortified Madeira wine casks, giving it a brilliant golden hue and exceptional aromatic complexity. This batch no. 3, produced in 2019, celebrates the terroir and local craftsmanship, offering a unique tasting experience where the freshness of raw sugarcane meets the fruity and spicy aromas from its brief cask aging.

Batch 2 is a release of 343 bottles.

Secret Distillery #4 is a 20-year-old rum from Grenada. Molasses was used in its production, and the fermented mash was distilled in a traditional column.

This cuvée, created by rum specialist Peter Holland, is designed for cocktails, but could also be enjoyed on its own. This white rum is a blend of unaged Martinique rums and a Jamaican 4-year-old, which adds depth and complexity to the whole. It's a beautiful union, symbolically represented on the label by Martinique's white snake alongside Jamaica's national flower.
