This expression comes from a unique cask made of sakura wood (Japanese cherry tree), where the whisky is aged for six years. Every cask used is a single cask, ensuring a unique tasting experience marked by elegance and the delicacy of sakura, an iconic symbol of Japan. The singularity of sakura wood is expressed fully, offering floral, fruity notes with touches of vanilla, resulting in an exceptional sensory signature. Double distilled in Pot Still and aged in the mountains of Tottori, in a natural environment ideal for maturation. Reduced with spring water from Mount Daisen.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR Amber
NOSE Expressive and fresh, marked by the influence of sakura wood, with floral aromas, cherry blossom, delicate spices, vanilla and sweet nuances.
PALATE Tender and harmonious, built on a malty base with hints of dried fruits, pastry aromas and light oak, enhanced by a delicate floral dimension.
FINISH Dry and persistent, subtly spicy, with fine woody notes and lingering floral sweetness.
