Duncan Taylor presents the second edition of the Black Bull Special Reserve, a blended Scotch whisky incorporating a 50% malt to grain ratio, akin to their 12 and 40-year-old variants. Following the widespread acclaim of the initial release, the Black Bull Special Reserve n°2 is limited to 871 bottles.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE The aroma is opulent and hearty, opening with a medley of fruits such as raisins, gooseberries, and blood orange, accompanied by the richness of roasted hazelnuts and walnuts. This evolves into notes of toffee fudge, fresh cream, toasted oak, dry spice, and a hint of smoke.

PALATE The palate is both creamy and intricate, featuring flavors of sultanas, orange zest, mango, chocolate orange, and coffee.

FINISH The finish is prolonged, marked by fruity nuances and a subtle dryness.
