Since 1894, we have been crafting our whisky at the Knockdhu distillery, located in the village of Knock, in Aberdeenshire. In Gaelic, "Knock" means "hill", and anCnoc takes its name from Knock Hill, which overlooks our distillery.
True to craftsmanship and traditional know-how, our Highland Single Malt Whisky is produced with very little automation, thanks to the talent of our artisans. Because this is how whisky should be crafted.
This Highland single malt has been matured for 10 years in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon, for a balanced, smooth, and smoky finish.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Soft campfire smoke, liquid honey and freshly cut grass.
PALATE: Smoked vanilla, green apples and orange citrus.
Crafted with a distinctive peated style, originating from Aberdeenshire.
