Sampan Cellar Series Virgin Oak Cask
Part of the Cellar 2021 series, this exceptional rum from the Distillerie d'Indochine in Quang Nam, Vietnam, has an alcohol content of 46%. Reduced with osmosis-treated water to preserve its authenticity, it underwent a 96-hour fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks and was column-distilled. A tropical aging of 24 months in virgin French oak barrels from the Jura Forest, with a medium toast, results in a limited production of 320 bottles.
TASTING NOTES :
NOSE : Beautiful balance between woody aromas and the fresh scent of sugarcane.
PALATE : Crisp attack with fresh and light oak notes, rounded off by a velvety texture.
