The Tomatin 14 Year Old is soft, smooth and sweet, benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years. Handcrafted on the Isle of Wight since 2014 using ten ethically sourced botanicals, Mermaid Gin offers a smooth yet complex blend of fresh organic lemon zest and peppery grains of paradise, with a hint of sea air from fragrant, wild rock samphire. They use some of the best barley, grown in Norfolk, and superb Breckland water to make their whisky. This 9 Year Old release is a heavily peated new make, matured in an Oloroso Sherry barrel and we’ve bottled this at cask strength - 67% abv.
