Every cask silently slumbering in our on-site warehouses is meticulously monitored throughout its maturation journey, ensuring the whisky is bottled at its optimum. This process allows us to find some hidden gems: casks that are developing rather special and distinctive characteristics. These unique whiskies merit being showcased individually so as to capture the interesting nuances and unique personality delivered by the cask's DNA: its history, oak genus and provenance. For these bottlings, we believe it's essential to present the spirit at cask strength to deliver a drinking experience that transports you to the depths of our warehouses in Speyside; as if you were sampling directly from the cask.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR IntenseMahogany.
NOSE Raisin butter, mocha and maraschino cherries, with honeycomb, dried orchard fruits and orange zest.
PALATE Cinnamon spice, mocha and cocoa, followed by heather honey, crystalised ginger and butterscotch.
