Our first Italian Whisky, and another brand new label from the pen of Emily Chappell, PUNI is also the first Italian whisky distillery. Spirit first flowed from their Scottish copper pot stills in 2014. A 4 Year Old, bottled at 47.3% abv.

Toasting or indeed charring the insides of casks changes the chemical composition of the wood. Some of you may wish to understand all the reactions that take place and the susbtances released or created and how they lead to yummy flavours in your whisky. For those less interested in the scientific explanation, suffice to say that "fire made it good". Another brand new label with our first Teerenpeli release! Family owned Teerenpeli Distillery was established 2002 in Lahti, Finland. Today the distillery is the biggest distillery in Finland specialized in producing single malt whiskies. A 5 Year Old, bottled at 47.6% abv.

This is our second batch of Blended Whisky from this long closed New Zealand distillery. It’s an 18 Year Old, bottled at 50.5% abv.

The Matsui – Mizunara Cask, is a single malt distilled by the Kurayoshi distillery, located in Tottori Prefecture. This whisky is aged in Mizunara oak casks. Mizunara wood is renowned both for its rarity and the complexity it presents in crafting. This oak takes 200 to 300 years to reach maturity, imparting exceptional aromatic qualities. This variety of oak is found only in the forests of Hokkaido and in the Tohoku region, in northern Honshu. Mizunara provides a honeyed woodiness that envelops the whisky and brings an elegant length specific to this type of aging. This whisky is diluted with fresh water sourced from the snowmelt of Mount Daisen.
