Sampan Cellar Series Ex Cognac Cask
An exceptional rum from the Distillerie d'Indochine in Quang Nam, Vietnam, boasting a 45% ABV. Reduced with osmosed water to preserve authenticity, it undergoes a 96-hour fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks and column still distillation. Tropical aging occurs for 36 months in 350-liter 1st refill Cognac casks with medium toast. Limited to 2000 bottles.
TASTING NOTES :
NOSE : A soft, woody, and tropical nose with notes of honey and vanilla.
PALATE : A crisp and pastry-like attack followed by spices. Exceptionally long on the palate with a sweet finish.
