McExplorer RUM is a double estate Mauritius rum. The perfect combination of a sugar cane juice and molasses rum aged for more than 8 years in oak barrels giving a rich flavour of spice, treacle, apples, coffee and a subtle hint of toffee. Double matured in Oloroso casks.
McExplorer is bottled with its Natural Colour and Unchill-Filtered, to display the beautiful unhindered flavours and tints of light that can be found in the House of McCallum Art of Rum Collection.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE Freshness of pure sugar cane juice, banoffee pie, and fruit cake.
PALATE Banana, toffee, demerara sugar, and walnuts.
FINISH Soft sweetness, ginger, and herbal notes.
