This set brings together three iconic variants from the Mermaid Gin range: the original Mermaid Gin, Mermaid Pink Gin, and Mermaid Zest Gin.
Each of these gins embodies the unique essence of the Isle of Wight, where they are handcrafted using local ingredients and botanicals harvested from the wild.
These small 5 cl bottles transport you into a gustatory universe combining complexity, smoothness, and a subtle marine touch.
Knappogue [NA-POGUE] takes its name from the castle which inspired it, the castle on “The kissing hill”. Built in 1467, the stronghold had fallen into ruin by 1966 when Mark Edwin Andrews and his wife Lavonne (both architects) restored it and filled it with some of Ireland’s best casks of whiskey. Some of these became the oldest, rarest commercially available whiskeys, the others helped define Irish single malt whiskey itself. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks for 14 years before transferring into Oloroso Sherry casks for a 2 year Sherry finish.
