The Tomatin 14 Year Old is soft, smooth and sweet, benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years. Rich but balanced aromas of red berries, sweet honey and rich toffee develop into aspects of light fruits and nuts on the palate and an abiding finish of smooth fruit salad.

Thanks to casks sourced from artisanal producers in Normandy, France, this whiskey blends the fruity freshness of calvados with the smoothness of Irish Single Grain whiskey. The result is a lively and refreshing spirit that showcases the richness of Normandy's apple-growing heritage.

Aged in 1st-fill ex-bourbon casks, then for a time in 500-litre Spanish Sherry casks, which give it its hazelnut-brown color.

The apples are mixed, crushed and pressed. The apple juice is fermented right out to give cider to be distilled. Double distillation is carried out 6 months after the fermentation has taken place. The first distillation gives the "petite eau" at 30% by volume and it is the second distillation, that of the "petite eau" which gives the Calvados.Aging: Six years minimum. In toasted 400 L oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
