TASTING NOTES
Fresh figs, pink berries, the smell of old furniture, cocoa beans, white lilac, an airy distillate, saffron, pipe tobacco and even roses in homage to the British Royal Navy.
Profile: notes of prune, cocoa bean and Armenian paper. Fruity (apricot, fresh fig) and spicy (nutmeg, black pepper, pink berry). Woody and varnished (old furniture). Grains of salt.

Tomatin Cask Strength
The casks numbered 49541 and 49542 have been gracefully resting in warehouse 6 since they were filled on September 21, 1978, gently and slowly maturing the precious spirit they contain. After thirty years, the spirit was transferred into the finest Spanish first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks and was aged for an additional decade under the careful and enduring care of Tomatin distillery's custodians.
