TASTING NOTES
NOSE Complex aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak.
PALATE Bold, dry, oaky flavors with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa.
FINISH Dry and lingering.

Old Pulteney Flotilla 2012 is a Highlands whisky aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks. Over the years, the casks have gently absorbed all the sea breeze from the North of Scotland, giving the whisky its sweet and complex flavors and its coastal characteristics. It is not surprising that Old Pulteney is known as the "maritime malt".

Aged in wood with double maturation: in foudre for 12 months, then in French oak casks ex-Cognac for 6 months.
To be enjoyed neat, in "ti-punch", or in long drinks.
Dupont Calvados Fine
The apples are mixed, crushed and pressed. The apple juice is fermented right out to give cider to be distilled. Double distillation is carried out 6 months after the fermentation has taken place. The first distillation gives the "petite eau" at 30% by volume and it is the second distillation, that of the "petite eau" which gives the Calvados.
Aging: Two years minimum. In toasted 400 l (88 imperial gallon) oak barrels, 50% of which are new.
