Burlanegra is a rum made from selected molasses from Central America. After a double distillation in a continuous column still, it is aged for several years in American oak barrels, then finished in Pedro Ximénez casks, which gives it its distinctive and refined aromatic profile.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE Intense aromas of dried fruits, vanilla, caramel, and raisins, accompanied by woody nuances and a subtle hint of hazelnut.
PALATE Smooth and velvety. Notes of ripe fruit, dark chocolate, and brown sugar reappear, with a pleasant complexity that evolves towards spicier and woodier tones.
FINISH Long and warm, with lingering impressions of raisins, toasted oak, and a touch of honey.
