This 7-year-old Irish Single Malt whiskey from Glendalough in Wicklow was matured in American Bourbon barrels and finished in Japanese Mizunara barrels from Hokkaido, in the volcanic north of Japan. The Mizunara barrels were custom-made for this project by skilled coopers in Japan. The exceptional combination of Irish whiskey in Japanese wood barrels makes it a very interesting whiskey.
Merlet’s Soeur Cerise reinvents a great classic, Cherry Brandy. The Merlets source different varieties of cherries, including Morellos, for their wide aromatic range. This liqueur is produced using various traditional methods. The cherries are first soaked in pure alcohol to extract all their flavours, then pressed and filtered.
Trois Citrus is Merlet’s reinterpretation of the traditional triple sec orange liqueur. The Merlet family worked with one of the greatest bartenders of the world, Tony Conigliaro, to create a perfect cocktail product. Trois Citrus is made with three varieties of citrus: bitter orange, blood orange and lemon.
