Crafted with meticulous precision, Master Distiller Billy Walker carefully selected four exceptional cask types from an enviable inventory to be bottled as The GlenAllachie 1990, 35-year-old Cask Strength: Mizunara virgin oak, American virgin oak, Oloroso Sherry, and Pedro Ximénez Sherry. This single malt showcases the rare use of Mizunara virgin oak, a prized Japanese wood sourced from 200-year-old trees. By harmonising Mizunara with three iconic and timehonoured cask types, this masterful malt creates a symphony of flavours, balancing warm spice, luscious dried fruit, creamy vanilla, and rich molasses into a refined and full-bodied expression.

For this rare edition in our Masters of Wood series, Billy has selected casks that matured fine Sherry within a traditional solera system for over 55 years before beginning a new chapter at The GlenAllachie. These venerable ex-solera casks impart layers of rich dried fruit and warm spice, creating a luxuriously complex single malt that celebrates the harmony of wood, time and craftsmanship. Suro Elderflower is a French liqueur made from Elderflowers. The harvest of the wild Flowers takes place each spring, they are picked fresh, by hand, at the peak of their bloom.

Yuzushu literally means "yuzu alcohol" in Japanese. Sea Salt Yuzushu is produced by the Kitajima brewery on a sake base, to which fresh yuzu juice and sea salt are added. Founded in 1805 in the village of Hari, Shiga Prefecture, the distillery has possessed recognized expertise in premium sakes for over 200 years. The association of sake, fresh Japanese yuzu juice, and sea salt creates a remarkable beverage with sweet and tangy notes.
