Today, Black Bull is still blended according to the same original formula, with a high percentage of quality malts from Speyside and the Highlands, matured in sherry and bourbon casks, mixed according to a high malt-to-grain ratio, and finally bottled at a robust alcohol strength of 50%. Sherry Casks Finish: an exclusive premium limited edition rum distilled on the island of Negros in the Philippines. The island, located on Mount Kanlaon. Don Papa Sherry Casks Finish is a molasses-based rum distilled by column, first aged for four years in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels, followed by 18 months in four different types of Sherry casks: Fino, Pedro Ximenez, Cream and Palo Cortado. The rums from these four casks are then carefully blended by the "Don Papa Master Blender" to produce a unique limited edition rum, unfiltered and bottled at 45% to further enhance its distinctive taste.
